Malindi High Court judge Lady Justice Christine Meoli yesterday directed the case on the Lamu Port filed by Save Lamu and other Civil Society groups to be placed urgently before Chief Justice Willy Mutunga for the selection of a three-judge bench.
This was after Chief petitioner, Mohamed Ali Baddi, Save Lamu Chairman and eight other petitioners filed a notice of motion demanding a three-judge panel through advocate Senior Counsel Paul Muite. The petitioners traveled from Lamu to attend the hearing.
