siyu fort built out side the town walls to safeguard the siyu residents. Siyu has a long history about the past. It is difficult to get the real information because of diversity of the swahili them self. This fort it has two watch towers the first one facing faza direction and the other one is facing pate. It means that the garrisons soldiers are facing two sides at one time.
